15.09.2025 12:01In Cherkasy region, a 48-year-old war veteran named Anatolii, with a Group III disability, stated that he was beaten by employees of the TCC and SP (Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center).
A video featuring the victim appeared on social networks and local Telegram channels.
At the beginning of the full-scale war, Anatolii volunteered for the front, fought as part of the 72nd Brigade, served for 2.5 years, including at a difficult section of the front in Vuhledar, where he was injured and disabled, after which he was discharged.
According to the former soldier, when he went outside in the settlement of Steblev, he saw scattered belongings on the road, an abandoned bicycle, and heard screams coming from a car with Lithuanian plates. He opened the car door and immediately received a spray of gas in his face from a canister. After that, he was brutally beaten.
“On September 12, I was walking home, saw abandoned belongings on a dirt road and a bicycle, and there was a car without identification marks, with Lithuanian plates. Someone was screaming from inside. I opened the door and got sprayed in the face with gas, I was knocked to the ground, they started beating me in the neck and back of the head. I shouted to them that I had undergone surgery, that I had plates there, to which they did not react at all,” the man said.
MP Oleksii Honcharenko also published a video with Anatolii and reported that TCC employees forcibly took away his brother.
Earlier, media reported that TCC employees and police in Volyn fired at elderly village women and took away a disabled man.
