In Kyiv, a woman caused a scandal over a child listening to Russian rap

A woman named Iryna Sukhareva in Kyiv started an argument with a boy because she didn’t like that he was listening to Russian rap music under her window.

She wrote about the incident on her Facebook page.

According to her post, after a morning missile strike on Kyiv, she heard “Russian garbage” from inside her apartment. She approached the window and saw a boy outside watching a music video on his phone. Sukhareva asked him to move away from her windows because it was “unpleasant” for her to hear it. In response, the boy allegedly called her “crazy” and cursed at her.

She ran outside and told the boy that she had fought in the war, as had her son, who was killed. According to her, the boy replied: “If you and your son fought, I don’t care. Why shouldn’t I love Russian music?”

“It’s frightening who we are leaving this country to! I was in shock, I barely restrained myself from hitting him… I could hardly make it back to my apartment — I had a panic attack and heart problems… I am determined not to let this go. I want to meet his parents. That brat spoke to me rudely and with foul language — just because I asked him to move away from the window,” Sukhareva wrote to her followers.

She also posted a video of her interaction with the boy, where her behavior appears quite aggressive. The video does not show the boy cursing at her as described in her post; instead, the boy calmly states that he did not insult her.

Throughout the video, the boy does not use any profanities, while Sukhareva repeatedly insults him, calling him a “bitch” and a “bastard,” and threatens to report him to the police, find his parents, visit his school, and make sure he is punished. She even expresses regret that she cannot hit him.

Interestingly, on her Facebook page, Iryna Sukhareva lists that she is originally from Russia’s Rostov region.
