In Kyiv, the construction of anti-radiation shelters has begun.

This was reported by the head of the Obolon district city administration, Kyrylo Fesyk, on the air of Kyiv Time.

According to him, two such shelters are already ready in Obolon, and new ones will appear in the near future.

Fesyk added that these are capital structures intended for the long-term stay of people.

Earlier, the media wrote that Ukraine is purchasing medicines from Israel for radiation sickness in case of a radiation incident.

Let us recall that recently the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant ended up in a blackout due to the shelling of an energy facility in the city of Slavutych in Kyiv region.
