In Kyiv, they pointed to Zelensky’s indifference toward Ukrainians and the country’s cities
11.02.2026 09:35Russia has not received a draft 20-point peace plan for Ukraine—neither through official nor unofficial channels.
This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the online project “Empathy Manuchi.”
“They’ve reworked this document several times already. Now they’re waving around some 20-point document that no one has passed to us—neither officially nor unofficially. Parts of its content have leaked into the media,” the minister said.
He added that Moscow is relying on the agreements reached between Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska, and he described subsequent versions of the agreement as “attempts to rape the American initiative” by Vladimir Zelensky and Europe.
“In Anchorage we found approaches based on the American initiative, the American proposals, which opened a path to peace. On that basis, it was entirely realistic to quickly agree on a final settlement treaty,” Lavrov said.
According to media reports, Trump and Putin agreed in Alaska to end the war after the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas—something Kyiv has publicly opposed. Lavrov has previously said that in Anchorage the Kremlin leader agreed to compromise peace proposals from the United States, but afterward Europe and the Ukrainian president tried to change them.
In recent days, Russia has repeatedly signaled that it is dissatisfied with how the Alaska understandings are being implemented.
