The accident occurred on the evening of August 28 at the intersection of Central Avenue and 6th Slobodska Street. A Fiat Doblo minivan collided with the Renault Master truck at the intersection. After the collision, the heavy truck was thrown to the side and crashed into a pole. As a result of the accident, the driver of the Fiat and a passenger in the truck were injured.
It was discovered that the Renault Master was transporting a rather unusual cargo to Odesa according to its documents. Who ordered the dead dogs and for what purpose remains unknown.
Recently, in the Chernivtsi region, an intoxicated clergyman driving a KAMAZ truck crashed into a pole and, upon being apprehended, struck a police officer and attempted to seize her gun. A breathalyzer test revealed that the priest’s blood alcohol level exceeded the legal limit by almost ten times—1.94‰.
In July, there was another traffic accident in Kharkiv on the ring road involving military personnel. Their vehicle rear-ended a civilian VAZ car, which subsequently caught fire and was completely destroyed. The military personnel fled the scene as the car they had hit burst into flames.
