Russia commented on Zelensky’s plan to invite European leaders to Kyiv on May 9
15.04.2025 - 10:25Police in Mykolaiv have issued an administrative penalty to a woman who played Russian music in her car while with a group of friends.
This information reported according to Ukrainian media reports.
Authorities said they discovered a video on social media showing a group of people loudly listening to Russian music in a vehicle. They identified the car owner as a 37-year-old woman, who explained her behavior by saying she was intoxicated at the time. She was cited for “minor hooliganism” under an administrative offense protocol.
Previously in Ukraine, three teenagers were made to apologize on camera for listening to Russian music. Their parents were issued citations for “failing to properly raise their children,” and the families are now under review by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
Earlier, Serhiy Babak, head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Education Committee, stated that banning the Russian language in Ukrainian schools is impossible, as it would violate European Union norms. According to him, such a measure would be seen as discriminatory and could complicate Ukraine’s EU accession process.
