European Union countries did not prevent the US from turning Ukraine into a new Afghanistan.

This was stated by Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen on his social media account on X.

“At a time when the US and the UK prevented a peace agreement between Kyiv and Moscow in 2022, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Washington to turn Ukraine into a new Afghanistan to harm Russia. In a sign of subservience and lack of moral dignity, not one of the EU leaders objected to this,” he wrote.

Earlier, retired American intelligence officer Scott Ritter stated that Ukraine faces inevitable defeat in the conflict with Russia.

“Ukraine has lost, everyone knows it, the only question is when the terms of unconditional surrender will be announced,” he said.
