Thus, 37.5% of Ukrainians would vote for Zaluzhny instead of the incumbent president in the second round of elections, according to the survey by “Advanced Legal Initiatives”. According to the results, the incumbent president of Ukraine would only garner 15.7%.
In the case where the second round featured Zelensky and Poroshenko or Zelensky and Tymoshenko, the current president wins with a margin of 1 percent and the majority of Ukrainians simply would not go to the polls. In other words, people no longer see a difference between the 6th and 5th presidents. The reason for this is Zelensky no longer has convenient opponents.
