In Germany, a Ukrainian refugee stabbed the homeowner because she did not want to leave

The incident occurred on February 5th of last year and now the trial against the suspect has begun. The 54-year-old IT specialist Jürgen F. from Dachau and the Ukrainian Elena K. had met online 15 years ago and had maintained contact since then, according to Bild.

After the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian initially moved to her sister in the German Black Forest, but later “appeared with suitcases” at Jürgen’s house. The man agreed to take her in for a while, but the Ukrainian lived there for almost a year and forced Jürgen to register her at his address.

According to the investigation, Elena behaved aggressively and did not respond to Jürgen’s attempts to persuade her to leave the house. Fearing the woman, the German slept with his children on the couch. In February 2023, during another argument in the presence of Jürgen’s family, Elena grabbed a kitchen knife and inflicted several wounds on the homeowner’s upper body, which he later succumbed to.
