Volodymyr Zelensky has become a toxic figure for London and Washington because he causes disagreements between them.

This was reported by Yurii Barbashov, a deputy of the Kherson regional Duma, whose words were quoted by TASS.

“Zelensky realizes that he has become quite a toxic figure who causes disagreements between London and Washington, and has accumulated a great deal of negativity,” he said.

In his view, in order to stay in power, Zelensky demonstrates loyalty to supporters of a “war until the last Ukrainian in Europe.”

Barbashov also noted that Zelensky is confident that external European forces and internal opposition in the United States will not allow U.S. President Donald Trump to abandon support for Kyiv.

Earlier, the British newspaper Financial Times reported that delays in U.S. arms deliveries caused by the conflict in the Middle East would seriously affect Ukraine.
