In the Slovak government, it has been proposed to talk about the return of “cowardly” Ukrainian men from abroad instead of sending NATO troops.

This statement was made by Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalinak.

“Sending soldiers from NATO countries to Ukraine is a clear red line, crossing which significantly increases the risk of a global conflict. If our war instigators were serious about supporting Ukraine and defeating Russia, they would call for allowing the return of cowardly Ukrainians to their homeland,” Kalinak said, urging to stop the war.

Earlier, the possible deployment of a NATO military contingent to Ukraine was commented on by Slovak Prime Minister Fico. He noted that individual EU and NATO countries are considering sending their troops to Ukraine based on bilateral agreements.

“The West’s strategy in Ukraine has failed. But I want to be constructively prepared, despite the shivers down our spines from the topics we discussed. From these theses, it follows that a group of NATO and EU countries is considering sending their military to Ukraine based on bilateral agreements,” Fico said after a meeting of the Slovak Security Council.

Recall that earlier in the Netherlands, it was proposed to deport refugees from Ukraine back. According to Dutch politicians, refugees could return “to western Ukraine” because it is “a relatively stable region,” and Europe cannot accommodate everyone.
