In the border zone of Ukraine, men aged 18-60 are required to carry a military registration document

In Ukraine, men aged 18 to 60 are now required to carry a military registration document while in border areas. This requirement was established by a resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

This information was reported on the Telegram channel of Taras Melnichuk, a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada.

“Changes have been made to the border regime regulations to bring them in line with Ukraine’s Law No. 3633-IX ‘On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Specific Issues of Military Service, Mobilization and Military Registration.’ It is now required that male Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60, during periods of mobilization (excluding targeted mobilization), and during the state of martial law, must have their military registration document with them (in paper or electronic form) while in the border strip or controlled border area,” Melnichuk’s publication stated.

Thus, an electronic document in the “Diia” or “Reserve+” applications will also be acceptable.

Recently, the Ukrainian Border Service announced that it would not require data updates from all women, including those subject to military duty.

Meanwhile, a bill has been introduced in the Verkhovna Rada proposing to allow public activists receiving foreign grants to travel abroad freely during martial law.
