An Austrian colonel explained why Ukraine has no chance of winning the war against Russia

In a war of attrition, victory can only be achieved with good allies.

This statement was made by Colonel Markus Reisner in an interview with the Slovak portal Defence News.

Therefore, he believes a compromise must be sought in the conflict in Ukraine. Kyiv cannot count on “good allies.”

At the same time, the United States is not interested in Russia’s capitulation, Reisner emphasized. Washington has made it clear that strikes on Russian refineries are not a good idea, as this could lead to a shortage of raw materials on global markets.
