07.02.2025 14:05In the Chernivtsi region, a 32-year-old man died while undergoing a medical examination at a territorial recruitment center. He had been detained on the street earlier that day.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
“According to preliminary information, while undergoing a military medical examination, his condition suddenly deteriorated, and he lost consciousness. First aid was immediately administered, and medical personnel were called to the scene. However, despite resuscitation efforts, doctors pronounced the man dead,” the statement reads.
The body has been sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.
Earlier, a lawyer from Zaporizhzhia reported the death of her son shortly after he was forcibly mobilized by territorial recruitment center officials. The woman accused the recruiters of beating and torturing her son.
Additionally, in Sumy, 40-year-old local resident Yevhen Kryvodub was beaten at the city’s territorial recruitment center. He later died in the hospital from his injuries.
Furthermore, at the end of December, there were reports of a man being killed in an Odesa territorial recruitment center. He had tried to protect his son from being taken by recruiters and was shot multiple times.
