In the Chernivtsi region, residents of one village expressed dissatisfaction with the installation of a checkpoint. Reports suggest that the village in question is Ostritsa, located 20 kilometers from the Romanian border.

In a video, a crowd of women, along with men who are not of conscription age, surrounded the military personnel present at the checkpoint—likely representatives of the territorial recruitment center or border guards—and questioned their presence.

The military personnel responded that this was a border area and their task was to “control the movement of individuals in a certain direction.”

In response, they were met with calls to “get the hell out.”

“What are you controlling here? Our boys?” the women asked.
