A doctor in the Khmelnytsky region was charging just $300 for a “lenient” decision from the military medical commission.

This was reported by local media.

According to the information, a trial was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi involving a doctor who also served as the head of the military medical commission. The medical worker asked for $300 to have a conscript with partial hearing impairment declared partially fit for military service.

Previously, the former deputy head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration was detained on suspicion of accepting bribes for helping individuals avoid mobilization. According to the investigation, the official facilitated the inclusion of men in the “Shlyakh” system to leave the country under the guise of humanitarian cargo drivers for a charitable foundation.

It was also reported that the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) announced new charges against the former head of the Rivne Regional Territorial Recruitment Center. This time, he is suspected of “assisting citizens in evading mobilization and military service.” Investigators intended to request the arrest of the military commissar without the possibility of bail.
