“In the long term, there can be no peace in Ukraine without it becoming part of NATO,” – Stoltenberg

There will be no peace in Ukraine until the country joins NATO.

This statement was made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

However, the Secretary General noted that there is no consensus among the Alliance countries on inviting Ukraine.

Stoltenberg also mentioned that NATO does not observe any actions by Russia in the nuclear sphere that would require a response.

It is worth noting that in July, Jens Stoltenberg suggested that the war could end without the return of all Ukrainian territories.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported on a plan to achieve peace in Ukraine without joining NATO.

Meanwhile, Republican vice-presidential candidate J.D. Vance stated that if Donald Trump is elected President of the United States, he might propose to Kyiv and Moscow to freeze the conflict along the current front line, in return for Ukraine to refrain from joining NATO.
