In the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the detention for bribery of four Kyiv judges has been confirmed

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine confirms the arrest of four judges from the Kyiv Court of Appeal.

This information has been reported by the NABU press service.

It’s noted that these judges were willing to cancel the seizure of a company’s property in exchange for a bribe of $35,000. After the money was handed over, the intermediary judge kept $10,000 for himself, while putting $25,000 into a whiskey box for further distribution among their colleagues. Once the funds were received, they were divided among the judges involved.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau’s statement did not disclose further details, but according to journalists, this incident is related to the cancellation of the seizure of assets in the case of Vyacheslav Boguslayev, a former head of “Motor Sich,” who is suspected of state treason. The names of the judges mentioned were Yuriy Sliva, Viktor Glinyany, Ihor Palenik, and Vyacheslav Dziubin.
