In the near future, a meeting of Zelensky’s Staff on Zaluzhny’s dismissal will take place

The immediate resignation of the Commander-in-Chief is predicted by the chief editor of “Censor.net” Yuriy Butusov. The appointment of new military leadership will also be discussed. Among the candidates for replacement are the head of intelligence Budanov and the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces Syrsky.

The text of the presidential decree on Zaluzhny’s dismissal was prepared as early as January 29. Currently, the president is “convincing everyone to support his decision so that it becomes the common position of the Staff.” The President’s Office is actively discussing the promotion of two dozen commanders of the Armed Forces and the National Guard to higher positions. “Wide consultations are being held on which commanders have a strong reputation in the army and society and to which positions they can be appointed,” writes Butusov.

It is worth noting that on Monday, an attempt was already made to dismiss Zaluzhny, but due to public resonance and non-public protests by Western politicians, Zelensky postponed the decision. However, since he sees Zaluzhny as his future opponent in the presidential elections, Zelensky is trying to remove the Commander-in-Chief by any means.
