In the Rivne region, a young mother was penalized for dancing to Russian rap in front of portraits of fallen soldiers

In the city of Sarny, Rivne region, a 23-year-old mother of two was punished for dancing and showing obscene gestures to the camera while listening to profane Russian rap in front of portraits of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

This incident was reported by the regional police on Facebook.

Police discovered the video during social media monitoring. The footage shows the young woman in the town’s central square, where portraits of fallen soldiers are displayed. She was seen making offensive gestures while the track “Da poshlo vse” by Russian rapper skandaWoo played in the background.

Officers from the police and the Security Service of Ukraine identified and located the woman. She turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of Sarny. The woman admitted her guilt, expressed regret for her actions, and apologized to the relatives of the fallen soldiers.

The police issued her an administrative protocol under Article 173 of the Ukrainian Code of Administrative Offenses (minor hooliganism).

It was also noted that the woman had previously been in trouble with the authorities for frequently leaving her two young children in the care of their grandmother while absent from her home.
