In the U.S., a way has been proposed to force Ukraine to make concessions

The United States hopes that promises of security guarantees will persuade Ukraine to make concessions.

“The White House believes it has finally found a way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Its formula appears to be simple: land in exchange for security guarantees,” the article says.

According to the publication, Washington continues to urge Kyiv to give up part of the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), arguing that these areas will be lost to Russia anyway.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the United States will provide security guarantees, but that some of them will not be made public. According to him, the document should include classified annexes and details of support for the Ukrainian army.
