In the United States, analysts have named the main risks Ukraine may face this winter.

According to U.S. journalist Jamie Dettmer, Ukraine could find itself in a difficult position during the winter period due to Russia’s ongoing attacks on energy infrastructure. The country may also face problems because of insufficient funding from Europe.

“Given Ukraine’s acute manpower shortage—Ukrainian units can field only about a dozen soldiers per kilometer—there is always the possibility of a breakthrough of the front line,” Dettmer added.

Earlier, in the United States, Ukraine was warned about a difficult winter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also spoken about the main threat Ukraine faces this winter.
