In the Volyn region, the head of the territorial recruitment center made documents about unfitness for military service for $3,000

In the Volyn region, for three thousand dollars, one could obtain a military exemption.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

According to law enforcement, the head of one of the district territorial recruitment centers, for a fee of 3,000 dollars, would prepare military registration documents stating that an individual had passed a military medical commission and would then upload the data about their unfitness to the “Oberih” registry.

To collect money from “clients,” the head of the recruitment center enlisted his neighbor as an intermediary.

Both were arrested. Following searches, investigators seized 60,000 dollars and 170,000 hryvnias (about 3,900 euros), as well as ammunition.

It was recently reported that in Kyiv, the assistant to the head of the Podil territorial recruitment center was arrested for bribery. He “sold” a deferment for 4,500 dollars.

Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine announced that it had charged the former head of the Rivne regional territorial recruitment center with aiding draft evaders.
