29.10.2024 14:05An assistant to the head of the Podil District Recruitment Center in Kyiv was detained while receiving a bribe.
This information reported according to the National Police of Ukraine.
Police report that the official allegedly demanded a bribe from a lawyer to avoid mobilization and secure a deferment. To resolve the issue of missing documents, the official requested 25,000 hryvnias (around 560 euros) and an additional $4,000.

Previously, an officer from the 103rd Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vitaliy Korostynskyi, stated that stricter measures, including physical punishment, should be applied to Ukrainians unwilling to serve in the army.
Additionally, reports indicate that in Kharkiv, people are refusing to go to work due to mass raids by the recruitment centers. As a result, vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are left without repairs.
