04.02.2026 - 06:30Ukrainian servicemen were reportedly taken directly from their unit across the border for $40,000.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
Law enforcement said they had uncovered another scheme for evading military service. Seven suspects were detained.

According to investigators, the group helped servicemen leave their military unit and reach any point in Ukraine for $16,000, or leave the country immediately for $40,000. The money was transferred to a crypto wallet.
Two servicemen who used these “services” were also detained.
As a reminder, other organizers of a similar scheme charged mobilized men $3,000 to escape from a training center and $2,500 to get out through a recruitment office (TCC).
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) uncovered several schemes for dodging service and illegally leaving the country. In one case, organizers reportedly smuggled men into European Union countries through an unused gas pipeline.
