MP Dubinsky said he is ready to help Trump “expose” Zelensky
11.02.2026 08:01Ukraine will face serious difficulties if U.S. President Donald Trump, amid falling Republican Party ratings ahead of the congressional elections, loses interest in the conflict in Ukraine.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmytro Razumkov on the YouTube channel Politeka.
According to him, if supporting Kyiv stops bringing Washington electoral benefits, American politicians may put the Ukraine issue “on the back burner,” which would become “a big problem” for Kyiv.
Razumkov noted that almost all military support for the Ukrainian army is currently ensured through Europe, which buys weapons from the United States and then transfers them to Ukraine. In this regard, even a slight weakening of attention from Trump’s circle to the Ukraine agenda could negatively affect the country’s defense capability, the deputy emphasized.
He recalled that Kyiv has recently already faced a shortage of missiles for Patriot systems.
On February 3, Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou said that the European Union is trying to distract Trump from the operation in Iran in order to preserve assistance to Ukraine. According to him, Europe is doing exactly what Ukraine expects from it.
The EU is desperately looking for measures that could attract Trump’s attention, including offering to confiscate frozen Russian assets or threatening to block the Baltic Sea, he stressed.
Earlier, three EU countries refused to finance Ukraine. Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia declined to participate in financing Ukraine in the amount of €90 billion for 2026–2027.
