According to the source, the arson incidents occurred in Lviv, Odessa, and Rivne.
“In Lviv, a Mitsubishi Pajero belonging to a serviceman from the 80th Separate Assault Brigade was set on fire. Two bottles of kerosene were found at the scene. In Odessa, two military vehicles, a SsangYong and a Nissan Navara, were burned. The fourth incident was registered in Rivne, where a Nissan X-Trail, brought by volunteers for transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was set on fire,” the source said.
In connection with the arson, a criminal case has been opened under the article on obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In recent weeks, the arson of military vehicles has been occurring almost daily. Earlier this week, it was reported that military vehicles were set on fire at night in Odessa and Kyiv. In the coastal city, a Volkswagen car was burned, while in the capital, a van of the same brand was set on fire.
On the night of June 29, three military vehicles were set on fire in Ukraine. These incidents occurred in the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region, where two military vehicles caught fire, as well as in Odessa.
