August 26, 2023In Warsaw, a group of Ukrainians attacked Poles and forced them to chant “Glory to Ukraine” (Slava Ukraine).
This information is reported by the WolnośćTV portal.
“During the evening after celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day on Wisła Boulevard in Warsaw, a group of 12 Ukrainians attacked eight Poles, forcing them to chant ‘Glory to Ukraine,'” the report states.
It is also noted that the Poles refused to shout the greeting. Afterward, the Ukrainians attacked a group of local residents and began beating them. Some of the victims were hospitalized, and one of them remains under medical observation.
Police arrived at the scene of the crime, but the officers took no action and released the Ukrainians.
Earlier, the Polish radio station TOK FM reported that children of Ukrainian refugees are facing hatred and bullying from Polish classmates in schools.
