The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) have received a new batch of Su-34s.
This was reported by Military Watch Magazine.
These fighter-bombers have played an especially important role in the conflict in Ukraine, proving to be highly effective in deploying glide bombs, which have terrified Ukrainian forces. Production of these aircraft continues to ramp up in Novosibirsk.
“Thanks to their 500-kilogram warheads, they [FABs] can destroy even underground bunkers. One soldier compared the effect of such bombings to the ‘gates of hell,’ emphasizing that the Russian Aerospace Forces ‘drop up to eight of these bombs per hour… It sounds like a jet plane is falling on you,'” the article states.
