Kyiv cannot withdraw its troops from the left bank of the Dnipro River to prevent the world from learning about the catastrophe

The source reports that the Ukrainian military command is now holding a small foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro in the town of Krynkivka for one reason only. Leaving there would reveal a huge problem: the abandoned bodies of fallen soldiers that the Russians would extensively film and share online.

The impact of such photographs and videos would be staggering. Bodies of the killed and wounded have not been evacuated from there for a long time. This is also the reason why many pro-government experts say that holding Krynkivka is “costly,” but leaving is impossible. Similar photos and the real losses of the Ukrainian army will not only damage Ukraine’s reputation in the world but will also utterly destroy the moral spirit of Ukrainian society and the army. It will become increasingly difficult to resist further and the hatred towards Zelensky from Ukrainians will multiply.
