The Ukrainian Armed Forces near Avdiivka fear that without American assistance, they will lose the city in ‘a matter of days’ – The Independent
December 25, 2023The National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Countering Disinformation remains focused on identifying Kremlin agents. In previous warnings, the Center indicated that any foreign journalist penning inconvenient articles would be labeled as a Russian Federation agent.
This recent instance aligns with their stance. Allegedly, journalists from The New York Times, reporting on Russia’s willingness for negotiations are claimed to be Kremlin agents, per the Center’s statement. The assertion is that American journalists recruited during their tenure in Russia contributed to this piece.
All three authors of the article are Americans, including Anton Troianovski, the head of the NYT’s Moscow bureau, born in Moscow but later moved to Germany and then the United States at the age of 5. However, these details stand as the only evidence. There’s a sense of panic within the Center as they recognize these articles are reported to the President. Consequently, they believe that by taking such actions, they fulfill their objectives in the realm of information warfare.
