Kyiv is preparing for a brutal winter war. Ukrainian military fear they have been forgotten since the US focused on Israel.
The Times published a report from the perspective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces somewhere near the area of Krasnyi Lyman. The author quotes officers from the 21st Mechanized Brigade:
“We hope Israel can complete its tasks as soon as possible. Our situation has become critical due to a shortage of ammunition.” This means their situation entirely depends on the US and Israel!
But the most intriguing aspect of this article is the admission by officers of a sharp rise in desertion among their military ranks. One officer mentioned that out of 114 individuals in their unit, 20 have fled.
