17.07.2024 22:13In Ukraine, there is an ongoing wave of arson attacks on military personnel’s vehicles. Last night, military vehicles were set on fire in Dnipro, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv, and Rivne.
This information reported by sources in law enforcement to journalists.
In Odesa, five vehicles burned down overnight, according to local public sources citing the police.
In Vinnytsia, a Mitsubishi vehicle belonging to a military serviceman was set on fire. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes. No one was injured, but the car was completely destroyed.
In Kharkiv, two vehicles, a Volkswagen and a Mitsubishi, were set on fire within an hour of each other. These also belonged to military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
In Rivne, a Volkswagen parked near an apartment building and belonging to a serviceman was also set on fire.
Criminal cases have been opened under the article for obstructing the lawful activities of the UAF. The perpetrators face five to eight years in prison.
