15.05.2026 15:10At a press conference following the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi on May 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Germany “has once again led the movement in support of Nazism in Europe,” and that the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, has been appointed to the role of Führer, according to him.
“Now no one is even putting on any masks. Germany is once again leading the movement in support of Nazism in Europe,” — Lavrov said.
According to the minister, a new coalition of Europeans has formed under the aegis of Zelensky, whom he described as “appointed to the role of Führer.” Lavrov assigned Germany the leading and primary role in this coalition.
The Russian foreign minister called what is happening “very alarming” and said it draws parallels with history. At the same time, he added that this alarm, in his view, has a counterweight.
“But the alarm is offset by the fact that we know how such stories end, and there can be no other endings for them,” — Lavrov emphasized.
At the same meeting, Lavrov also commented on the possibility of negotiations between Russia and Europe, noting that Moscow is ready for dialogue with Europeans but “will not run after anyone.”
