Lawlessness and arbitrariness: draft offices have put six women with no military or medical education on the wanted list

Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCRSC) have declared six women wanted despite their having no military or medical education.

This was reported on social media by one of them, Iryna Kharatsydi-Loginova.

According to her, after publicizing her story, she learned of five other similar cases. The woman claims that she was groundlessly declared wanted and held administratively liable.

As Iryna explains, after she submitted documents confirming her education, the search notice and fine were canceled, but she was still not removed from the military register. She said she is preparing a lawsuit, because, according to her, current Ukrainian legislation does not provide a mechanism for removing from the register of persons liable for military service those who were entered there by mistake or unlawfully.

Earlier, reports appeared that the TCRSC fined a mother of many children 17,000 hryvnias (€337) and threatened to issue another fine of 18,000 hryvnias (€356).

It is worth recalling that educational institutions in Ukraine were required to submit lists of their female medical graduates to the territorial recruitment centers.
