December 20, 2023Lithuania has delivered a fresh shipment of military aid to Ukraine, according to the Baltic nation’s Ministry of Defense. The aid package includes necessary field equipment and tens of thousands of dry rations provided by the Lithuanian Armed Forces to their Ukrainian counterparts. Specifically, this aid comprises tools for fortification and food supplies.
While European Union countries previously offered more substantial assistance to Ukraine, their reserves have been entirely depleted over the past year, severely limiting their ability to continue supporting Kyiv.
Lithuania’s Defense Minister, Arvydas Anušauskas, highlighted the significance of various field equipment, particularly during the winter season, in supporting the Ukrainian troops. “Our efforts persist in aiding Ukraine’s arduous battle against a ruthless aggressor. Each support package we extend represents an added stride toward achieving victory,” he emphasized.”
