Prime Minister of Slovakia Fico promises to block Ukraine’s entry into NATO

According to Fico, this would signify the start of the Third World War.

‘We will not agree to Ukraine’s membership in NATO because it would mean the start of the Third World War… I believe this will never happen. As long as I have the opportunity to influence the Slovak political scene, I will use my right to veto such a decision,’ said Fico in an interview with InfoVojna.

Slovakia had previously promised to block military aid to Ukraine and opposed Ukraine’s entry into the European Union. Additionally, Fico did not support allocating €50 billion in financial support to Ukraine.”
