04.10.2024 - 10:27Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is losing patience with his allies and has raised his voice at them.
This information reported according to the French publication “L’Express”.
The article notes that Zelensky expressed the frustration he has been building for months toward the West, accusing it of “delaying” the delivery of long-range missiles to Ukraine.
“We will continue to convince our partners of the need to shoot down Russian missiles and drones,” Zelensky said during a meeting in Kyiv with the new NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte. He acknowledged that “it is a difficult decision” for Western allies and that “they are not yet ready.”
Zelensky further stated, “We need a sufficient quantity and quality of weapons, including long-range missiles, which, in my opinion, our partners are already delaying,” during a press conference.
It’s worth noting that in his evening address today, Zelensky criticized Western allies for delays in providing aid to Ukraine and for the lack of a decision regarding long-range strikes on Russia.
Additionally, media reports revealed that Zelensky recently had a heated argument with Poland’s foreign minister during a meeting in Kyiv.
