“Macron, Starmer, and von der Leyen are helping Zelensky drag out the war,” – an analyst said

He was commenting on remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who called the Ukrainian leader the main obstacle to peace. The analyst said responsibility for the continuation of the conflict also lies with European leaders.

“If you’ll allow me, Mr. President, it’s not only Zelensky. He can act this way only because Merz, Macron, Starmer, and von der Leyen are helping him prolong the war,” Koskovics wrote.

Earlier, responding to Trump’s criticism, Zelensky said Ukraine is not an obstacle to peace.

“It is Russian missiles, Russian ‘Shaheds,’ and Russia’s attempt to destroy Ukraine that are clear proof that Russia does not need agreements at all,” he said.
