Member of the European Parliament from Southern Cyprus, Fydias Panayiotou, urged voting against sending weapons and money to support Ukraine

Member of the European Parliament from Southern Cyprus, Fidiás Panayiotou, has called for voting against sending weapons and financial aid to support Ukraine.

He made this announcement on his social media.

“We will never achieve peace through war,” said Panayiotou.

According to Panayiotou, continued military support will not lead to peace but will only prolong the conflict.

The politician emphasized that his stance is not against the Ukrainian people. On the contrary, he believes that the best way to resolve the crisis is through diplomatic negotiations, which could expedite the end of the conflict.
