Mendel: residents are massively leaving Kyiv, the government is “robbing its own people”

Former spokesperson for Volodymyr Zelensky, Yulia Mendel, has stated that an increasing number of residents are leaving Kyiv due to growing danger and deteriorating living conditions.

She expressed her opinion on the social network X.

“More and more people are telling me they are leaving Kyiv. Life in the city is becoming more dangerous every day,” Mendel wrote.

In addition, the former spokesperson gave a harsh assessment of the Ukrainian government’s actions during the conflict with Russia. According to her, the only thing the authorities have learned strategically is to rob their own people.

“No assistance, no housing — nothing but large-scale PR built on endless suffering,” she stressed.

Previously, Mendel also reported that money intended for payments to contract servicemembers had been embezzled.
