This information has been reported by local media, citing residents of Babaev in the Kharkiv region (where a men’s monastery was established in April 2024).
It is claimed that the 44-year-old archimandrite, Bogdan, was detained by the territorial recruitment center staff while wearing his cassock, sent for a military-medical commission, and then taken to a military unit in Dnipro.
However, when no military unit agreed to accept the priest, he was returned to the territorial recruitment center. It is now reported that he is being held in confinement without food and without access to lawyers.

Earlier, media reported that military recruiters mobilized a sick priest on his way to a service at the Holy Trinity Church near Rivne.
Additionally, media published a video showing how a priest in the Lviv region was served a summons under threat.
