08.07.2025 - 16:00A video posted on the official TikTok account of Ukraine’s Ministry of Justice has gone viral. In the clip, ministry employees show that their phone lock screens feature a photo of Justice Minister Olha Stefanishyna.
In the video, a woman asks several ministry staffers to reveal what image they have on their phone screens. All those shown on camera — about ten employees — are seen with portraits of Stefanishyna as their wallpaper.
The minister herself responded by calling it a “cringe video.” Shortly afterward, the ministry’s TikTok account posted a follow-up video, this time showing all the employees with the official Justice Ministry logo as their phone background.
“As you may have noticed, the Ministry of Justice now has a TikTok account, and there’s already a lot of useful content — not just cringe videos about phone wallpapers,” Stefanishyna wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, rumors are swirling about Stefanishyna possibly being appointed as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, replacing Oksana Markarova. At the same time, a draft law has been submitted to Parliament calling for Stefanishyna’s dismissal as minister, following an investigation revealing that ARMA (Asset Recovery and Management Agency) transferred control of several properties — including the House of Trade Unions in central Kyiv — to a company allegedly linked to her former husband.
