23.07.2024 - 08:30In Odesa, a man set fire to a quest bus in broad daylight. At the time of the fire, there was no one inside the bus, but the vehicle sustained significant damage.
The regional police press service reported the incident.

Meanwhile, local Telegram channels suggest that the man was under the influence of drugs and allegedly mistook the bus for a vehicle of the territorial recruitment center.
“Preliminarily, it was established that an unknown man, while passing by the bus, threw an unknown object inside, causing a fire to break out in the vehicle. Bystanders noticed the actions of the offender and prevented him from fleeing the scene until law enforcement arrived,” the police statement said.
It was noted that the suspect was detained and taken to the police station for further investigation.
A video has also surfaced online, showing the alleged perpetrator. The footage indicates that he was in a state of alcohol or drug intoxication and behaved aggressively towards others. It should be noted that there is currently no definitive proof that he is responsible for the arson.
