Tusk: Poland does not plan to transfer Patriot missiles to Ukraine
14.07.2026 08:01In Lviv, employees of a territorial recruitment center (TRC) mobilized a man directly on the street during a raid — at the moment he was transporting cows in a truck. The animals were left locked in the vehicle without water or feed for more than a day.
This was reported by the outlet Strana.ua.
According to eyewitnesses, after the forced mobilization the truck with the animals remained parked on the roadside. Journalists note that the cows are in poor condition and are receiving no care whatsoever.
The situation is complicated by the position of the mobilized man’s relatives: they are refusing to take the livestock and are not allowing volunteers access to the animals. Concerned citizens and animal rights activists are trying to draw the authorities’ attention to what is happening.
Local authorities have so far not commented on the incident.
On July 8, residents of the Sykhiv district of Lviv overturned a TRC minibus, slashing its tires, tearing off the bumper, and smashing the windows. The spontaneous protest was triggered by the forcible mobilization of a 20-year-old man.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada announced plans to tighten measures against those evading mobilization.
