Money for Ukraine has run out, acknowledged the Pentagon

During a press briefing, Pentagon spokesperson Major General Pat Ryder revealed that there’s an exhaustion of available funds, indicating a potential pause in further support to Kyiv due to the lack of resources for replenishing supplies.

While the department still holds $4.2 billion that could be allocated for this purpose, the potential halt in support reflects a careful approach by the US Department of Defense to safeguard its own military readiness.

Despite an earlier aid package of $250 million primarily comprising artillery rounds and ammunition, there’s uncertainty about resuming shipments due to ongoing disputes in Congress. Republican lawmakers insist on reforms in immigration policy before approving additional substantial aid to Zelensky’s government.
