“The U.S. considers Ukraine’s NATO membership and its army reaching the 2014 borders unrealistic,” – Pentagon chief Hegseth
12.02.2025 14:49The Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces lie about the number of missiles shot down and the fallen debris in Kyiv.
This was stated by Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla in her Telegram channel.
According to her, today in the Obolon district of the capital, a missile fell that was not shot down, rather than just debris.
Bezuhla links this to the reassignment of Air Force specialists to infantry roles.
“When the Air Forces lie once again about ‘debris’ and follow Syrskyi’s lead in reducing air defense. Here are the ‘debris’ in my district—Obolon, Kyiv. Today. A crater from an unshot-down missile. With these lies, they further distort the already critical situation regarding the shortage of air defense systems. Why do we need new systems from the U.S., for example? We supposedly ‘shoot everything down,'” the MP wrote.

Meanwhile, the state enterprise “Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting of Ukraine” reported that due to last night’s missile attack, the offices of state television channels broadcasting in Russian and other foreign languages were damaged in Kyiv. The affected channels include “FREEДОМ,” “Dom,” UATVEnglish, The Gaze, UATVEspañol, UATVArabic, and UATVPortuguês.
The channels’ employees were unharmed. However, the broadcasting equipment, office spaces, digital editorial offices, and newsroom of the “FREEДОМ” channel were seriously damaged. The channel is currently broadcasting from a backup studio. Windows and doors in the building were shattered, part of the ceiling collapsed, and the studio, computers, production equipment, and vehicles sustained partial damage.
It should be noted that this morning, Russia carried out a massive missile strike on Kyiv. The Air Forces reported that they had shot down all six ballistic missiles launched from the north.
Previously, Bezuhla had written that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to transfer valuable specialists from various military branches into infantry roles. She also posted videos from Russian Telegram channels showing captured Ukrainian fortifications near Pokrovsk, which were allegedly surrendered without a single shot being fired.
