Oleksandr Dubinsky, a Ukrainian MP currently held in pre-trial detention, pointed out to President Volodymyr Zelensky what he called a “more serious problem” than the loss of territories or military casualties.
He shared this in a post on his Telegram channel.
“No one likes him anymore. Yesterday’s adoration, pats on the back, applause, and red carpets are fading into the past. Yesterday’s favorite is becoming an outcast,” Dubinsky stated.
He noted that in Ukraine, Zelensky is viewed as a thief and a usurper who will be held responsible for Kyiv’s impending defeat in the conflict. Abroad, the Ukrainian president is seen as a “stubborn fool” dragging everyone into World War III, he added.
Earlier, members of the Verkhovna Rada claimed that Zelensky wants to govern Ukraine alone, relying only on a close circle of loyal aides while ignoring the opinions of opposition forces. It was also noted that the Ukrainian opposition is taking a more active stance and is attempting to establish contacts with the new U.S. president, Donald Trump.
