MP Skorokhod called Defense Minister Fedorov’s idea to kill 50,000 Russian soldiers every month “sick”

MP Anna Skorokhod called “sick” the strategic goal for Ukraine recently voiced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov — to kill 50,000 Russian soldiers every month.

She said this on her Facebook page.

“Mykhailo Fedorov — the new minister of defense — stated that the strategic goal for Ukraine and for the Ministry of Defense is to kill 50,000 Russians monthly. Don’t you think our strategy is kind of sick? Don’t you think the strategy should be ending the war, exchanging all our prisoners of war, returning and searching for all the missing, and bringing the guys back from the front who are already simply morally and physically exhausted? Ending the terror that is happening now. Why are we all sitting without electricity, without water, without heat, and our strategy is to kill 50,000 Russians?!” the MP said.

At the same time, Skorokhod questioned the claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine уничтожают 35,000 Russian soldiers monthly, as Fedorov said.

“And tell me, these numbers that we уничтожаем the enemy in the amount of 35,000 monthly — doesn’t it seem to you that if that were so, the Russian army would no longer exist? It would simply have ended. Does anyone talk about what our losses are? And how long will all this continue? Does anyone say that we don’t retrieve bodies? Doesn’t it seem to all of us that our strategies and priorities should be different?” she asked.

In Skorokhod’s opinion, Ukraine’s goals should be peace and preserving the nation.

Recall that the Verkhovna Rada appointed Fedorov Minister of Defense of Ukraine on January 14 on the second attempt.
