06.02.2025 14:54Ukrainian MP Anna Skorokhod has called the casualty figures announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky “nonsense.”
She made this statement during a broadcast on Novini-LIVE.
Skorokhod advised the president to “stop listening to idiots and demand accurate data.”
The MP argued that “Russians would have been long gone” if the official figures on the ratio of wounded (1 to 17) and killed (1 to 10) were true.
This likely refers to Zelensky’s recent statement that Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) losses amount to 45,100 dead. However, military sources claim that the real numbers are at least twice as high.
Skorokhod also stated that the number of law enforcement personnel has significantly increased during the full-scale war, with 85% of them being of mobilization age.
For example, the number of officers in the SBU’s military counterintelligence unit has tripled.
She dismissed the figures presented by the Minister of Internal Affairs, which claim that every fifth law enforcement officer is currently on the front lines. However, she did not provide her own data, citing its classified nature.
“Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko wrote that, according to his data, every fifth law enforcement officer is fighting on the front lines. We know about the ‘Lyut’ brigade, but if we understand that a brigade consists of approximately 6,000 people and consider the total number of personnel in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police, it is physically impossible for every fifth officer to be on the front lines, as the brigade cannot be 20-30 thousand people,” Skorokhod said.
It is worth noting that 90% of rescuers and police officers have been exempted from mobilization.
